Alex McDonald

Alex is a qualified accountant and brings over 25 years of AFL experience as the Managing Director of Hemisphere AFL. He has the distinction of being the number one AFL draft pick in 1988. After seven seasons at the Hawks, Alex finished his career at Collingwood. Crucially Alex knows what it’s like to be a player at the elite level. He’s even a member of a select group of families who have had three brothers play over 100 AFL games. His brothers, Anthony and James, both played for Melbourne.

Hemisphere’s philosophy of maximising on field and off field opportunities is built out of our desire to build lasting relationships with every talent. Combining 18 years of industry experience with his football career, Alex is perfectly equipped to guide talent through the rigours of life in the AFL.

David Trotter

Dave Trotter is recognised as one of the leading player managers in the AFL industry, bringing over 15 years of experience to his role. A former top-10 draft pick who spent time in the AFL system himself, Dave has a unique understanding of what it takes to succeed at the elite level. Specialising in contract negotiations and player relationships, he has built a reputation for delivering outstanding outcomes for his clients both on and off the field. Dave manages some of the game’s biggest stars as well as its brightest emerging talent, combining deep industry knowledge with a genuine commitment to supporting his players throughout their careers.

Annabel Burge

Annabel has been a certified AFL player agent with Hemisphere Management Group since 2012 and was proud to be one of the first female accredited agents in the industry. Now serving as Head of Commercial, she oversees brand partnerships, sponsorships, and off-field opportunities for the firm’s clients. Over more than a decade, she has built a strong reputation for advocating for athletes and guiding them through every stage of their professional journey — from the draft and contract negotiations to commercial growth and life after football. She has worked closely with a diverse range of players, focusing on tailored career management and long-term success, with an approach grounded in trust, integrity, and a genuine passion for athlete development.

Dan Meddings

Dan is a seasoned sports professional with a background in cricket and AFL.  After completing his degree in Sport & Recreation Management at Victoria University, Dan has worked in the sporting industry over the past 8 years, leveraging his education and passion for sports to build a successful career establishing strong connections across the country and metro areas of Victoria.  Currently, playing for St Kilda Cricket Club and being a past student of Caulfield Grammar further complements his understanding of balancing athletic and academic commitments.  This blend of personal experience, professional expertise and passion for building relationships makes Dan an invaluable mentor for young athletes navigating their elite sports pathways.

Nick Allan

Nick is a West Australian accredited AFL player agent who joined Hemisphere Management Group in 2020. With a background in accounting and finance, combined with experience in AFL recruiting and having come through the WA talent pathway, Nick brings a unique blend of professional insight and on-field understanding to his role.

Passionate about player development, Nick works closely with many of Hemisphere’s Under-18 clients, guiding them through the AFL Draft process with a strong emphasis on preparation, education, and long-term success. His focus on building genuine, lasting relationships ensures each player receives personalised support as they take their first steps toward an AFL career.

Anthony Panozzo

Anthony’s football career began in the late 1980s, progressing to senior football at just 18 years of age. He played at a high level across multiple state leagues, representing Richmond in the VFL, North Adelaide in the SANFL, and Oakleigh in the VFA. After his playing days, Anthony built a highly successful business career, driven by the same work ethic and competitive spirit that shaped his football journey. His passion for mentoring and supporting young talent led him to become an Accredited AFL Player Agent. Anthony now serves as General Manager at Hemisphere, bringing a wealth of experience, strong values, and deep industry knowledge to help Hemisphere athletes navigate the professional football landscape, both on and off the field.

Lachlan Ritchie

Lachie brings a deep understanding of the game, shaped by his own journey through the elite talent pathways, including his time at the Sandringham Dragons, Vic Metro U18s, APS football at St Kevin’s, and his VFL experience with Southport and the Gold Coast Suns reserves. He capped off his playing career winning a senior QAFL premiership in 2017 for Palm Beach Currumbin. What sets Lachie apart as a player agent is his lived experience. He knows exactly what today’s aspiring footballers are going through because he’s been there himself. He understands the pressure, the excitement, and the sacrifices required to make it in elite football, and he uses that insight to guide players with perspective and honesty. Lachie is committed to building strong, lasting relationships with his clients.

Kayla Voss

Kayla is a media and communications professional with three years’ industry experience post completing her Bachelor of Journalism/Bachelor of English and Creative Writing at the University of South Australia. Her qualifications have proven invaluable in her move to Hemisphere and providing off-field administrative support to AFL players, ensuring smooth coordination of player welfare, logistics and commercial support at Hemisphere. As the daughter of former AFL player and senior coach Michael Voss, she brings a lived understanding of the pressures and expectations both on and off the field. Her football heritage gives a rare perspective on the inner workings of elite-level football, and a strong sense of how to support players through their AFL journey.

Kristian Nikoloski

Kristian completed his Media and Communications degree in Melbourne and Cincinnati before entering the media industry shortly after graduating. Within a year he made the move over to Los Angeles to pursue a career in talent management. Whilst over there he quickly landed a role as an assistant to an endorsement agent and worked with some of America’s A-list talent. Upon his return to Australia he began work with Hemisphere as the talent services and endorsements coordinator.
