Rory Sloane

Rory Sloane is a hard-nosed midfielder for the Adelaide Crows. Taken with pick 44 in the 2008 National Draft, Sloane is ranked amongst the AFL’s elite. A dual club champion, showdown medallist, AFLPA Most Courageous Player, he also vice captained the AFL All Australian team in 2016. The accolades continued to come for the selfless player in 2017, when he was voted AFLPA Most Courageous Player and received an All Australian nomination. In 2019, Sloane was appointed co-captain and produced an impressive campaign on the way to a second-place finish in the best and fairest. Off field, Sloane and wife Belinda have welcomed baby boy Sonny Leo. In 2020, Sloane has been named sole captain for The Crows.
