Hugh McCluggage is a talented midfielder for the Brisbane Lions taken with pick 3 in the 2016 National Draft. An elite ball-winner with silky foot skills, he made his AFL debut in 2017 against St Kilda and earned a Rising Star nomination in round 14. One of the game’s best young talents, McCluggage is a future leader both on and off the field. In just his third year in the AFL, McCluggage finished third in the Brisbane Lions Best and Fairest, taking home the Alastair Lynch Trophy. He was also named in the AFLPA’s 22under22 team along with earning a spot in the All-Australian 40-man squad.
